the vision

The roar of the Lion of Judah is returning to the church!

In simple response to Mark 16 –

‘And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Roar events have been happening in Trafalgar Square, London, since March 2014. With a license granted by the Greater London Authority we have erected a medium sized stage and hired a top quality sound system to preach the gospel and share testimonies of salvation and healing throughout the afternoon. Alongside this we have had healing on the streets (HOTS), free massages, free hugs, free tea and coffee and other creative expressions of the love of Jesus. We have had ministry teams of 100 plus regularly (from all over the country) and seen many saved, healed and delivered and many new young evangelists emboldened and released. We have always ended with a great time of testimony sharing, praise and dinner celebration.

We then began to take Roar to Oxford, Truro, Manchester, Sheffield and further afield, partnering with the local churches. We believe it’s time to take the event to the next level of impact, to have longer run up times, to involve more churches and leaders and to have more organized and strategic prayer. Roar is not a ministry as such, it’s a moving vehicle to win souls and to serve, equip, empower and help release the local church to evangelize through active modelling and outreach. Our heart is to serve and to join in with what God is doing in our beautiful nation that is in desperate need of the love and power of Jesus Christ.
